Both BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2 has now b-listed "Toxic Girl".
This means that it will be aired once, twice, or if our bribery
works, three times a day.
|
| |
Erlend says: "Source, our record label, tells us that "Toxic
Girl" might go Top 40 in its first week of release. That is,
if we sell five and a half thousand of the ten thousand copies that
has been shipped to record stores in Britain. If this happens, it
will be quite incredible. We might even get to perform on "Top
of the Pops".
|
We need your help."
|
|
"Toxic Girl" will be released in three formats; CD1,
CD2 and 7" vinyl.
CD1 contains a new version of "Little Kids" and the KOC
version of Badly Drawn Boy's "Once Around the Block".
CD2 will contain the acoustic version of "Gold for the Price
of Silver" from the Tellè Records compilation and the
J-Walk remix of "Winning a Battle, Losing the War". (What
is it good for?).
The 7": "Once Around the Block".

Erlend and Eirik apologizes for not being able to answer all the
received e-mails, because I, the Evil and Jealous Webmaster, have
kept them for myself. The e-mails will now be given the attention
they deserve. "Some people have sent us photographs of where
they live, as requested on the back of our CD. They have been greatly
appreciated. Keep 'em rollin'-rollin'-rollin'-rollin' (© Limp
Biscuit) in".

Erlend, who is now looking over my shoulder,
has the following to say about the Norwegian tour
The Kings are in the middle of: "It
started in Trondheim, where we played to the biggest audience we
have ever played to. The mood in the big cirkus-style room was great.
We were suprised in a positive way how attentive the audience in
the Norwegian city-o'-mustaches behaved". The boys also
played in Bø in Telemark, Sogndal and Oslo. A reviewer in
Oslo had, after the concert, the following comments: "Must
have Motörhead now. Must have Motörhead now." And
gave the gig 3 out of six possible marks. He also caracterized the
song "Parr-a-Pluie" as "their
horrible french song".
